
Google has filed three new patents for its Notebook Service, and by glancing over excerpts that have been published online here, it’s clear that Google is planning on furthered integration of Notebook content for search results. The question is: will this become a factor for determining Google’s search engine rankings?
Earlier this month Google released a handful of upgrades to the Notebook service, making it easier to organize your content. It very much mimics more and more social bookmarking sites out there, and so it wouldn’t be entirely surprising if Notebook bookmarks give weight to particular search queries.
