I stumbled on to these links of Design Resources and Amazing Posters and I couldn’t help but think to myself “things are looking much better these days.”

I remember just a couple of years ago (ok, eight) and the only sites with consistently good design were K10K, Design is Kinky, and Shift.co.jp.  Everything else may have some interesting links or some cool art but now a days everything is looking so much better.  Yesterday I found HypeBeast looking for Joy Division stuff and I couldn’t believe how much I liked the design.  Heres a site that basically looked like a store and I was eating it all up.  They call themselves a magazine but really all they need is a “Buy Now” button and they would be a store.  Back to the point, they are a store and their design looks great and I am just eating it up.

The downside maybe that we are all feeding out of the same trough.   Maybe the reason everything looks good is that we are all moving down the same narrow thought hallway.  I think that since I’m inside the thought bubble it will really take something amazing outside my sphere of influence to wake me up.
